The Summit is a 1-day forum welcoming LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults, college students, parents, and educators for speakers and workshops to learn, share, dialogue, and connect in support of LGBTQIA+ students.

One Colorado developed the first Queer Youth Summit in 2014 to establish create a welcoming and safe environment for LGBTQIA+ students in Colorado schools to address the issues and challenges they face. Over the years we have partnered with Gender & Sexuality Alliances (GSA) and students across the state to create a forum for students, parents and guardians, and educators to gather, learn, and dialogue through various workshops, panels, and interactive sessions.

Jude Clinchard

she, her, hers

Jude is a fierce activist for the LGBTQ+ community. She started her advocacy work at the age of nine by testifying for a Colorado Bill that allows transgender people to change the gender marker on their birth certificate without it being stamped “amended.” Jude testified for this bill eight times from 2016 to 2019. Due to her persistence and commitment to showing up every year the bill was ultimately named “Jude’s Law” when it finally passed in 2019.
